Who can I give to?
The range of charities that you can donate to depends on the type of tax-deduction you are seeking.
United States
If you would like an American tax-receipt (501c3), you can create an IsraelGives DAF operated by America Gives, a U.S. public charity. Through America Gives, you will be able to donate to any of America's 1.5 million charities, to any of Israel's 50,000 charities, and to millions of charities around the world.
Canada
If you would like a Canadian tax-receipt (CRA), you can create an IsraelGives DAF operated by Canada Charity Partners, a Canadian charity. Through Canada Charity Partners, you will be able to donate to any of Canada's 100,000 charities, to any of Israel's 50,000 charities, and to millions of charities around the world.
Israel
If you would like an Israeli tax-deduction, you can create an account operated by the IsraelGives Foundation, an Israeli charity. Through IsraelGives, you will be able to donate to any nonprofit in Israel with Section 46 status, or in their first 2 years of operations - over 15,000 charities.
